I have been working on a TV stand for our family room, to replace an old sideboard of similar size we have been using, and get the dvd player, satellite receiver off the carpet under it. Finished pics!

Looks great Bryan! That is one huge TV.... Did you build the other table as well? The Finishes on the two look the same...

Thanks!!! Speakers on the side make's it look big, but it is an old 62" DLP projection set. Stand is 20w x 33 h x 56 L. I made the 3x3 legs 8.5 H . Top overhangs by 1 inch, so box is 18x54. I made a 1/2" deep rabbett on 7/8" thick doors so they sit in and use self closing wrap around hinge from HD. Handles from LV. I used 1 sheet of 3/4" oak ply and a 1/2 sheet of 1/4" for the back. Project cost was approx $200, compared to $1356 with tax from big box furniture store for a similar sized stand.
