Thread: Solid End Pen

  1. Solid End Pen

A new pen, a box elder burl blank from William Woodwrite. The pen is a Jr Gent II from CSUSA, the pen finish is just a sanded surface and buffed.

  2. OK, I think I really like that one! It looks visually complex while still being real wood. Way to go!

  3. Stunning piece and great workmanship.

I really need to try Box Elder Burl one day...

    The finish is sprayed lacquer?

I like that pen, Jim. As pretty as some of those bling pens can be, NOTHING beats real wood (especially something that nice) in my books.

Great pen Jim. Did you have to do anything special when turning or did you just stick with real sharp tools?

  6. Thanks All, real sharp tools and a stabilized blank, all sanded from 320 to 12,000 MM then white diamond wheel on my Beal

Any ideas how to remove accumulated metal from my 800 ceramic honing stone??
