PORTER-CABLE has expanded its popular professional-grade 18-volt cordless tool line with seven new tools, and three new lithium-ion combination kits developed with direct feedback from the tradesmen who use them.
These additions to the cordless offering are part of Porter-Cable’s product line expansion for the user who wants professional quality at a good value.
Impact Drivers (PC18ID, PCL18LIDC-2, PC180IDK-2)
PORTER-CABLE introduces a new 1/4-inch hex impact driver which offers high-torque output, virtually eliminating kickback, thus allowing users to take-on heavy-duty fastening applications for extended periods without fatigue.
With a heavy-duty impact mechanism, the 18-volt impact driver can deliver up to 1,600 inch-pounds at 2,800 blows-per-minute (BPM). The impact block is cold-forged to provide maximum durability.
At 6-1/2 inches, the new PORTER-CABLE impact driver fits into tight areas not accessible to larger impact drivers and drill/drivers. To achieve the shortest length in this class, the impact driver uses a high-output, compact motor. The impact driver incorporates a variable-speed trigger to provide a smooth power curve for maximum control across a range of applications and an on-board LED work light to illuminate dark areas without compromising battery run-time.

Jigsaw (PC18JS)
The PORTER-CABLE jigsaw (PC18JS) is the only 18-volt jigsaw to offer both a tool-free shoe and detachable vacuum attachment port. The tool-free steel shoe provides hassle-free transitions from straight (0 degree) and 45-degree bevel cuts, while the vacuum attachment clears debris from the cut path and reduces airborne dust.
In addition, the jigsaw’s three-position orbital control adjusts the blade angle to allow users the choice between faster and smoother cutting to best suit their need. Circular Saw (PC18CSL)

(PC18CSL), offers an integrated laser guide to show the cut path on any surface. A 6-1/2 inch, 18-tooth carbide-tipped PORTER-CABLE blade allows cutting of two-inch lumber at a 45-degree bevel. The unit’s shoe also can bevel up to 50 degrees and provides a clear line of sight for difficult cuts. A depth-of-cut adjustment gauge helps speed cuts in shallow materials, such as plywood, and maximizes the number of cuts per battery charge.

The new PORTER-CABLE 18-volt detail sander (PC18DS) has the highest stock removal rate in its class, based on platen size and orbits-per-minute (OPM), and is the only 18-volt sander featuring a detachable detail finger and vacuum attachment port. When activated, the sander’s high-output motor drives the 19-square-inch, hook-and-loop platen to a maximum speed of 10,500 OPM for superior stock removal and productivity.
The platen is tapered for sanding in corners and tight spaces, and has a detachable detail finger designed for small surface applications. The overmolded, contoured grip area offers comfort and control during use.

PORTER-CABLE announces two new additions to its corded line of professional-grade power tools. Engineered with the tradesman in mind, the new 3/8-inch drill and 6.0 amp jigsaw are designed with high-performance motors and provide reliable power and durability for longer run-time.

3/8-inch Drill (PC600D)

Available now, the new PORTER-CABLE LX (PC18BLX), EX (PC18BLEX) 18-volt, Lithium-Ion Battery Packs and the multi-chemistry charger (PCXMVC) are interchangeable with the existing PORTER-CABLE 18-volt, Lithium-Ion and Nickel Cadmium (NiCad) batteries to provide professionals with choices to meet their worksite and shop needs.
